The following is our initial layout plan for the proposed development:


The key features of this initial layout plan are as follows:


  • Archel Homes proposes approximately 44 new homes, including 13 affordable homes, in a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.


  • A single t-shaped building is proposed located along the existing station car park boundary, ensuring an acceptable relationship with neighbouring homes and the Railway Tavern.


  • Extensive landscaping is proposed around the site edges including new communal gardens and a central communal square, creating an attractive setting for the new homes.


  • The proposed layout aims to ensure that the new homes integrate seamlessly with the existing townscape and bring this vacant site into use.


  • Access to the site is proposed from Station Road to the rear of the Railway Tavern with parking to the rear of the site.
